Coordinate software releases and acts as the liaison between App Support Team, IT Business Analysts and developers (internal or external). Review and test the quality of new and modified software before being released to production. Verify that the software meets the user requirements and conforms to the company standards.

Principais responsabilidades

  • Coordinate, manage, evaluate and test new or modified software releases to verify that applications function according to user requirements and conform to company guidelines;
  • Recommend changes or corrections to applications to eliminate errors or to improve stability and responsiveness;
  • Review coding of developers to ensure that the code conforms to company and industry best practices, that the code is well documented and capable of producing the required outcome that the business requires;
  • Provide second tier support on internal applications;
  • Detect software issues so that defects may be corrected early;
  • Evaluate data integrity and document all remediation requirements due to software issues;
  • Document issues found on applications and escalate these issues to the developers responsible for the application; track the lifecycle of these issues until fully resolved and placed into production;
  • Provide support to the Service Desk on reported software issues;
  • Coordinate meetings where new applications or modifications to applications are planned.
